Do the new sensors and modules have to be calibrated?

  • Updated

No. You will not need to take any specific action to calibrate the sensor or the modules.

Each sensor and module is individually calibrated at the factory during the production process. While in operation, each module calculates the hours of use and the concentration of pollutants that the sensors have been exposed to. When the sensors need to be replaced, the sensor module status lights (above the sensor module bays) will turn red.

When replacing an old module and installing a new one, allow for the module to calibrate automatically, which takes 1–2 days.
